Who these terms apply to

These terms cover purchases made through hikiens.com by customers in the United Kingdom. By placing an order you agree to them.

Products and pricing

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We do our best to keep listings accurate but if we make a pricing error we will contact you before dispatching. You can cancel the order at that point at no cost.

Product images are representative. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen calibration.

Orders

Your order is confirmed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline orders at our discretion, for example if a product goes out of stock between your order and our confirmation.

Payment

We accept bank transfer and card payment by invoice. Payment terms are set out in your order confirmation. If payment is not received within the period stated, the order may be cancelled.

Returns and cancellations

You have 14 days from receipt to return most items under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty. See our Delivery and Returns Policy for the full process.

Liability

We are not liable for losses that are indirect or not caused by our fault. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have the right to a repair, replacement or refund. For online purchases, you also have a 14-day cooling-off period from delivery during which you may cancel for any reason.

Product descriptions and pricing

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate. Manufacturers occasionally update product specifications without prior notice — if a product differs materially from its description, contact us before use. Prices shown include VAT at the current UK rate. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is confirmed. If we discover an error after you have placed an order, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Safety equipment notice

Ropes, harnesses and other safety equipment sold by HIKIENS are intended for use by competent persons familiar with their correct use. We strongly recommend appropriate training before using any climbing or safety equipment in a situation where a fall could result in injury. Inspect all safety equipment before each use. Retire any item that shows signs of damage, excessive wear, or has been subjected to a significant fall or load, regardless of visible condition.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from a purchase made through hikiens.com will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Last updated February 2026.
